Do you have some time to make a difference?

ArtsLink welcomes volunteers to help deliver events and programmes that have a positive impact on people’s lives and enrich the opportunities for the community. Could you:

Brighten the day and move with the ArtsLink Parkinson’s Dance group. As a volunteer you will welcome people upon arrival, help them to enjoy the dance session and prepare tea and biscuits for the after dancing chat time. If you are interested we will arrange for you to visit this uplifting group and see them in action.

Keep cinema local. As part of our ArtsLink Flicks volunteer team you will help us show our monthly films in Sherborne. You will welcome the audience, sell tickets, ensure everyone is comfortable and ready to enjoy the film and then share watching it as part of the audience. You could also help us to choose the films we show and help develop what the evening offers.

Help steer and guide the charity. Give your time and experience as a Trustee for Sherborne ArtsLink, supporting the wellbeing of the local community through engagement with creative arts. Use your skills and knowledge to help the charity engage, collaborate and flourish into the future.

Make an event happen. When ArtsLink is running a special event we need people to help with set up, delivery and take down. Every event is different so the volunteering tasks do vary slightly, but you will always be supported by knowledgeable and experienced staff.
