Art for Parents provides supportive art and craft sessions for any parent or carer of primary age children who is finding life difficult, whatever the reason.
Each session offers time out for yourself away from your daily routines with the opportunity to be creative and have fun.
Art for Parents, described by one of our members as ‘a little oasis of calm in our hectic lives of parenthood’ and a place where ‘we can focus on being creative and eat cake!’ supports parents and carers of primary age children who are experiencing difficulties and challenges in their lives, whatever the reason. Run by an experienced tutors each Thursday during term time, new and sometimes challenging art techniques are enjoyed while the group itself helps provide support and friendship. This is a child free activity, creating time just for you to relax and be creative.
