In Remembrance of Keith Stott SWAc
It is with great regret that we share the sad news that Keith Stott passed away peacefully on Tuesday 7th January after a short illness. He had been able to spend time with his family, enjoy one more exhibition and finish his final paintings.
During the past few years Keith has been a regular tutor for ArtsLink.
We shall remember him for his passion, joy and love of pastels and his desire to bring that to a wider audience. He was a tremendous supporter of ArtsLink and our ethos and was completely committed to encouraging and sharing his knowledge with all his students.
A quiet man of great integrity and honesty who we shall miss.
According to his wishes there will be no funeral but his family are organising a ‘Celebration of Life’ gathering at the Shaftesbury Art Centre in Bell Street (SP7 8AR) on Sunday 2nd February between 6 – 8 pm for friends, painting colleagues and students to attend.
If you wish to go to this please let Christine know so that they have an idea of numbers for refreshments. It will be upstairs in the Phoenix and Rutter Rooms. Please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
