MY COUSIN RACHEL  Daphne Du Maurier's mystery-romance, set  in Cornwall.  Starring Rachel Weisz and Sam Claflin.  12A, 106 minutes

Pre-film supper menu this month is: Slow roast shoulder of lamb with potatoes dauphinoise and green beans. Served with a rich red wine jus and Jane Atherton's Mint jelly. Individual trifles.

VICTORIA AND ABDUL  The extraordinary true story of an unexpected friendship between Queen Victoria and Abdul Karim, a young clerk from India.  Staring Judi Dench and Ali Fazal.  PG, 110 minutes

GOODBYE CHRISTOPHER ROBIN a witty and touching father-son tale exploring the relationship between children's author A A Milne and his son Christopher Robin, whose toys inspired the magical world of Winnie the Pooh. PG 107 minutes

11 April

MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS  Classic Agatha Christie retold with a stella cast including Judi Dench, Derek Jacobi, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer and Director Kenneth Branagh.  12A, 115 minutes

The ArtsLink Flicks are shown on the second Wednesday of each month except August. The Flicks are presented in association with Moviola - see our page on the their website.

The venue is the Digby Church Hall on Digby Road, Sherborne - between the Abbey and the railway station.  Films start at 7.30 pm and doors open at 7.00 pm.

Tickets are £6 and available in advance from the Sherborne Tourist Information Centre on Digby Road, 01935 815341.  Tickets may also be purchased on the door if we have not sold out!

The Pre-Film Suppers at the Raleigh Hall (next door to our showing venue!) are proving very popular.  ArtsLink has teamed up with Sherborne Lunch Club to offer you a chance to enjoy a supper, served at 6 pm, before the film.  For £12 per person you will receive two quality courses, timed so you can then amble next door and take your seats for the film. Tickets must be purchased in advance by 1 pm on the day prior to the film, again from Sherborne Tourist Information Centre. Typical menu is Cider-baked pork with apple and fennel with fig,cherry and white chocolate mascarpone trifle, plus a vegetarian option.
